Organization of educational process:

• Training takes place four days a week (one day can be a library day). Every day there are  3-4 classes (lectures, seminars, workshops, trainings, etc.)
• full-time - from 9.00 to 15.00;
• night school - from 17.00 to 21.00;
• distant branch - on Saturdays.

 

Professional Bachelor's higher education program  "Business (commercial) activities"  was accredited on December 5, 2007, for six years .
The main objective of the program "Business (commercial) activity" is training of specialists with professional knowledge and skills in project management and companies, who can manage projects of local and international scale, as well as institutions, enterprises or their structures.  Graduates who started the program, are given an undergraduate degree in business management and are qualified project or business managers.

Specificity of training

 

The curriculum was designed to meet Western European standards in project management, considering experience of Latvia and other European countries in the field of business. Leading Latvian and foreign experts are involved in its implementation.
Classes are held in bright, modern classrooms, with the active use of the latest technology. Much attention is paid to the aesthetic side of the development of future professionals, as well as a supportive educational environment.

Job prospects of graduates

 

International Higher School of Practical Psychology is the first higher school in Latvia, where students can obtain a degree in the filed "Head of local and international projects."
During training the future professionals have the opportunity to learn English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian and Latvian languages ​​(optional).

The program content

 

  • Program goals and objectives are realized through the following cycles of subjects
  •  A number of subjects for general education, aiming at the development of the individual;
    • The cycle of subjects for computer and information technology;
    • The cycle of economic subjects;
    • The cycle of subjects that provide the basis of management;
    • The cycle of objects, giving the foundations for project management.

Subjects of the first cycle of the program  are focused on generating comprehensive theoretical and methodological knowledge, they help to develop thinking and communicative culture of the student.
The cycle of subjects for computer and information technology provides students with the necessary knowledge and skills in the areas of database management and modeling projects.
The cycle of objects, within management framework, is aimed at developing and strengthening the skills necessary for business leaders.
